Start of new year with a bird survey in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve What can be better then this… A serene jungle, pristinely beautiful landscape and walking in prime tiger territory. WNC can proudly say that we have successfully conducted 1st bird survey at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve with a generous support from forest dept. at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. We have recorded around 250 species data for which is under scrutiny, and this was despite the bad weather condition for birding. Enthusiasm and hard work of participants brought such a great result on which we can build year on year and season on season Highlights- Red necked grebe White capped bunting Long tailed minivet Blue bearded bee eater Heart spotted woodpecker Banded bay cuckoo Presence of ACS- Mr JN Kansotiya who graced the event with his presence along with FD sir- Mr L L Uikey boosted the sentiment of all the birders. Thanks to DD Prakash Verma sir and all the fores dept. at BTR for their constant support and gracious welcome.
